Accomac Optometric is looking to add to our team! We are searching for friendly, reliable, and dedicated team players that can manage incoming calls, schedule appointments efficiently, prepare charts, verify medical/vision insurance, communicate with doctors, staff, and patients, and preparepatients for their eye exam (performing basic tests using ophthalmic equipment). Training will be provided.
Our practice uses electronic medical records, so computer proficiency is
essential.
- Previous experience with insurance billing is a plus
- Previous medical office experience is a plus
- A professional attitude and having pride in your work is a MUST
- Our ideal candidate must be willing to learn and adapt as our industry changes
- Our ideal candidate must be able to work independently and yet cooperatively within our team
